Fuda #42 [action/video]
[If anyone walks past house 25 today, they will notice that is looks dark and abandoned. On the front door, someone has nailed a piece of paper. It says:
Hisoka and I has moved to Community house 5, room 4 on the ground floor. Draco has gone home.
-Tsuzuki
[The room number is underlined twice. He doesn't want anyone to come to the wrong part of the building by mistake.
There are too many goodbyes. After a while the body simply doesn't have enough energy to grieve for all of them, no matter how much it wants to. Tsuzuki doesn't know how to deal with it just yet, but he does know that he needs to at least pretend things are fine. That's why he takes his normal trip to the bakery and then to the temple during the rainy day. Rei is nowhere to be found at the temple, which is a huge red flag to him. She would have never left it without telling anyone. He does his best to make the temple stay clean and welcoming while he waits for her to come back.
When he goes to his new home, he makes sure to bring some real green and some snacks for Hisoka, as a way to try to cheer him up.]
Sorry about the mess. Do you want some help with the unpacking?
[Once he's hung his coat to dry, he opens his journal and presses the video function.]
I see we've gotten some more new people in town. How are you all settling in?

Well... at least it was when he was a Spirit. He probably shouldn't be out in the rain for too long in human form after what happened last time when the weather was cold and slushy. Perhaps he will find shelter here then if only for a short time.
Of course, when he arrives he finds himself meeting a familiar face.]
Tsuzuki?
no subject
[However, that doesn't mean he wants others to get cold and wet. Particularly not spirits who are not yet accustomed to being mortal.]
Hey. Come inside, you'll freeze.
no subject
I am still not quite used to protecting myself from the elements. It was not something that had much of an impact on me before...
[He turns to his friend though.] Are you well?
no subject
....I suppose. I don't know. There's a lot to think about.
no subject
You know I am here to listen if something is troubling you. Perhaps it would help you to put your thoughts in order.

[He doesn't look like he notices that Eley feels embarrassed by him. Tsuzuki is one of those people that believes that daily touches will make others feel less sad, so he's always ready to be affectionate and playful with the people he deems friends.
He gestures for the nearest sitting spot, giving Eley a hint that he's allowed to rest.]
I don't know. There are some things I just feel dumb for worrying about.
no subject
He frowns at his statement though.]
A worry is still a worry no matter what the problem may be. I have listened to many problems that others would deem pointless but that does not make them any less real. You may speak to me if you wish.
no subject
Tsuzuki blinks. It never ceases to surprise him when others care enough to want him to open up. Wise from injury, he doesn't tell Eley the problem right away. If he opens up slowly, he can at least change the subject in time if Eley acts like he'd rather they stopped.]
A lot of people have disappeared lately, don't you think?
no subject
He wasn't quite expecting his next statement, and it made him wonder...]
I suppose they have... I will admit that I may not have noticed as much as I should have. I am only close to a few here and the rest I would only observe as I would my other subjects at home. There have been multiple messages posted concerning friends going home however, that I have not overlooked.
Have you lost a friend, Tsuzuki?

[Action]
There isn't much left to unpack. Don't worry about it.
[Action]
[Their cat is only too good at noticing when Hisoka needs some tender, loving attention, that is all. Clearly the book is in the way of that.]
[Tsuzuki finds a spot on the couch nearby.]
What are you reading?
Re: [Action]
Right now, I'm reading the spots on the cat's butt.
[He swats at Cake. Why will you not shoo? >|]
[Action]
[He picks their drowsy cat off of Hisoka's book, and it earns him a warning scratch. Cake has been sleeping perfectly well where he had been, and he doesn't like being disturbed by the two of them. Tsuzuki ignores it, scooting closer to Hisoka while he adjust so their cat can sleep on his lap instead.]
If you want some tea to go with that book, I can go make some.
[Action]
[Action]
[Besides, Hisoka deserves to know that someone cares that he's had some tough months.]
Have you been outside today?
[Action]
[Action]
It's not good for you to hole up here all the time, that's all. I don't want you to feel lonely.

( video. )
Hello! I'm doing fine and thank you so much for inquiring. Everyone has been nothing but kind to me since I came here so it's a relief. My head is still spinning from some things but I'll try to keep a chin up!
( video. )
[Adapting to the change is a good sign. It means she's confident. In Tsuzuki's corner, it's apparent he's sitting in his own living room. The shoulders of his shirt is still wet from the rain, but he doesn't seem to mind the chill.]
Hey, have you gotten to explore the town yet? We have a fantastic tea shop.
( video. )
Why yes, I love tea! It's such a relief to know that it is still here. Is that where you went in this weather? ( She notices the wet spots on his shoulders. ) I noticed your clothes are a bit damp. I do hope you don't catch a cold, Monsieur...?
( video. )
Oh, no. Today I had to take care of the shrine. Otherwise I would've stayed at home today.
[He waves the question off, seeing as he doesn't get colds. It's not something he wants to draw attention to.]
How long have you been in town?
( video. )
( Just. Don't ask for help from her when it's raining. Thank you. )
Ah? I've been only here for a day or two. I think. ( Adalinda tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, her shoulders briefly slumping down in a moment of feigned melancholy. ) When I first woke up, I was so confused and distressed that I simply wandered and did not keep track of time. It has has been quite an experience to be here but people like you and others have been a great assistance so I must thank you for it.
( video. )
[He's good enough at guessing to know that working in the rain is fun for exactly no one. Tsuzuki's not going to start demanding that of people. With an attentive look on his face, he straightens the journal so the feed looks better.]
You're that new? I hope your wings have stopped aching.
( video. )
When he mentions her wings, she decides to go along with it and winces like she was reminded of the subtle shades of pain she felt at the moment. )
They are still tender, monsieur. ( She tries to smile away her discomfort, doing her best to look like she's making the best of the aches she is (not) experiencing. ) I hope this is something that fades away soon or is not a common thing with our wings. I always was never one of perfect health and I don't think adding on more thing to my list is something my physician will approve of.
( video. )
They're going to get better son, I promise. But if they hurt too much for you, I can always try to find some painkillers.
