[OOC: Pretend I posted this days ago! D: Tsuzuki had a little run-in with River earlier. Being him, he thought he'd ~~limp~~ ~~stagger~~ walk the injuries off on the way home. He's still kind of dazed about all of it, really. It might just be the blood-loss speaking.]

[The feed comes on by accident, showing a very quiet shinigami. He's carrying one wing under his arm as if it was a newspaper, and his shirt is no longer white. Tsuzuki winces as he bends down to untie his shoes, but he'd determined to be as quiet as he can about going inside.]

[He looks downright guilty.] I didn't have time to ask. She just started to attack when I was close enough.

What does she look like?

Petite, like a ballerina. Dark hair almost down to her shoulders. She wore a dress.

Hijiri, you are not going to do anything stupid. [Tsuzuki gently ushers him towards the door.]

A girl...?

[is pushed] I'm not going to do anything stupid.

I think she was, yes.

[Getting Hijiri inside without getting blood on him is kind of hard. Tsuzuki ends up using the hand holding his wing in to push him in the door.] I know you're not. I'm just making sure I know where everyone is.

... why did she attack you?

[he just wants to kill this girl, whoever she is. That's not stupid at all, anyway he lets himself be ushered back inside]

She didn't tell me.

[If Tsuzuki knew that was what Hijiri thought, he'd be touched. -Before he'd worry that Hijiri would try to find her. In any case, the closest sink is in the kitchen, so that's where Tsuzuki's heading.

He pulls his ruined tie loose.]

Do you know if there are mind-controllers in the city?

... mind-controllers? I guess there are but I don't know any personally. Why?

[Tsuzuki hesitates, then smiles sadly.] Maybe it wasn't her fault that she attacked.

Hijiri? Can you do me a favor?

What exactly happened, Tsuzuki?

Anything.

She looked like she was hurt, so I walked up to her to check. Maybe she was in shock?

[There is no way to say this in a polite manner, so Tsuzuki simply tries to say it quickly.] Could you please hold my wing in place, so it can heal against the wound?

Maybe... or it could have been an act.

Huh? Oh, sure. [holds out his hand for the wing]

It's possible.

[He picks up the wing and hands it to Hijiri. Tsuzuki almost pulls it back to dust the dirt and dust off of it, but he resists, turning his back to the teenager.]

Sorry about the blood. I'll clean it up once I've showered.

Entirely too possible here...

Ah, don't worry about the blood. [holds the wing against where it's been torn off] Is this alright? And... doesn't it hurt? Mine hurt like hell when I broke them!

Sure, it hurts. But it'll be all right once it attaches again. [Speaking of which, said wing is grabbing onto the wound and doing its thing, finally. It itches like crazy.]

Maybe I can ask her why she did it once I healed.

[he's never actually seen anything quite like this before! he holds the wing steady]

Maybe...

[The first thing Tsuzuki's wing does once the nerve endings attach is to twitch. He rubs it absentmindedly to get the itching out, before he turns to Hijiri again.]

Maybe?

[he holds the wing as still as he can until it's fully healed]

I still don't think it'll be safe. There are a lot of psychos here.

[It's more appreciated than Tsuzuki can say. When the wing feels warm again, he sighs and relaxes.]

That's probably true. I don't know, I just want to make sure.

[he lets go slowly] Is it done?

well, I don't want you going to look for her alone... bring Hisoka with you or something.

I think so. It doesn't hurt when I breathe anymore. [Tsuzuki's wings move very slowly back and forth, before he turns to face Hijiri again.] Thank you.

I'll ask him. Though, when we have to deal with violent people it always makes me worry about him.

It's so nice to have healing powers. You're welcome.

Hmm... that could be a problem... take Duo with you instead?

I wish this place hadn't messed with it, though. ...I guess I took my healing powers for granted until now.

If I did, I'd make sure he was shielded at all times.

At least you still have some of it.

Well, I'm sure Duo can take care of himself just fine.
