[New feathers! Tsuzuki was walking around in the forest and came across the village by accident. He tried to cover his chest by crossing his arms.]

Excuse me! Does anyone know where I could get a shirt? Some shirt-bandit apparently robbed me while I slept.

[He remembered he now has wings. That's going to take a while to get used to.]

...And where can I find a pair of scissors?

These wings are very important to us here though... if you lose them, you die. Yeah, I've been here... more than 2 years now, I think.

[laughs] Alright.

[hurries out and starts calling as he nears the forest] Tsuzuki!! Tsuzuki!! Where are you?

Two years! I thought you were living on earth. So now you're 18?

...

[No reply, just a loud yelp, and some buzzing!]

Don't come closer! The bush is filled with BEES.

[Tsuzuki runs away from it, around a tree, and shakes them off before he walks towards Hijiri. His wings are all puffed out.]

Hey. I've missed you!

I just turned 18 last month! Well, time is supposed to flow differently here. Time supposedly stops back home while you're here. but anyway, I've grown quite a bit, I'm sure I'll end up taller than you!

[hurries over to the bush but doesn't go nearer] Tsuzuki! Are you alright? [then watches Tsuzuki run and when the bees are all gone he runs the rest of the way to give Tsuzuki a biiig hug!] I-I missed you too. I missed you so much, Tsuzuki! You were all here with me at first, then left one by one... don't do that again...

Congratulations, Hijiri. I'm sorry I missed it. And yes, maybe you'll grow taller than me. MAYBE.

[Tsuzuki hugs back, tightly, because it's been a long while since he's seen him.] I'm fine, it was only bees. I missed you, too. [He lets Hijiri go, reluctantly.]

I promise, I'm not going anywhere. At least not without taking you with me.

It's not a maybe. I'll definitely be taller than you~!

[looks up worried] Did they sting you? [smiles happily] Really? [then his smile fades a bit] But... I've kind of met someone here who I don't want to leave behind and this person... is from a different world.

We'll see about that!

No, looks like I escaped them. [He quickly hid a sting on his side by placing a palm over it. Tsuzuki grinned, still happy to see a familiar face.]

Oh yeah? Who is it?

You're on, [and has to tease~] Jii-chan~!

[and he spots that movement] ... Tsuzuki... you wouldn't happen to be hiding anything now, would you?

Well, you don't know... [and not really sure if Tsuzuki would approve of the fact that his lover is male, but then again he trusts Tsuzuki so here goes!] ... him yet. But he's a very nice person and tries so hard to make sure I'm happy. [laughs a bit] And apparently his nickname is 'Shinigami' back in his world!

[Ah, busted. He straightens his back and looks as innocent as he can.] Who, me? [The hand doesn't move from his side.]

[He blinks a little, but doesn't say anything. It's a surprise to him. At the same time, it's kind of cute, so he end up laughing a little, as he begins to smile.] You attract a lot of shinigami, Hijiri.

Jii-chan?

What do you want to bet on~?

[and frowns... and for a moment he looks so much like an annoyed Hisoka] Tsu. Zu. Ki.

[and was watching Tsuzuki nervously then relaxes when Tsuzuki seems fine with that and he ends up laughing] It does seem so! Though he had this slight paranoid that I would die from being near him and it took some convincing to assure him that I personally know real shinigami and am alive and well thanks to them! [and of course, Duo has purple eyes and behaves generally like a puppy like a certain someone but we're not going to mention that. Tsuzuki is Tsuzuki and Duo is Duo. Even if the similarities between the two were what attracted Hijiri in the first place when he was here all on his own.]

[and his smile widens] Yes, Jii-chan~ [since you're like, what, a century old? That definitely makes you a grandpa~!]

It depends on what you're willing to bet.

[Tsuzuki shifts his weight from one foot to another. The similarities are really too much, even though they're not years apart. He lifts his hand from the sting, looking shy.] It's just a small one. It'll go away soon.

Why did he think you'd die from that? [And he is oblibious to all of this, since he's never met Duo. Might become more aware of it once he's actually talked to the guy.]

Hey, I'm very young for my age! Hijiri, so mean~!

It's strange. I always thought you'd get a lot of girlfriends. -Not that there's anything wrong with a boyfriend.

Mnnn... let's see. [Wants to say cooking duties since he is almost the only person at their house who can actually cook something decent... Then he has horrible flashbacks of Tsuzuki's cooking! No, never again! Duo is just as bad. Hijiri is not much better. Sheik is quite good though.] Toilet cleaning duties?

[looks at him sternly with those green eyes that are basically identical to Hisoka's] It's not alright! You should have that looked at! I'm taking you to the clinic!

Apparently, he calls himself 'shinigami' because he lost a lot of people he loved and thinks they died because of him. He kind of feels he's cursed. But he's just paranoid.

[laughs] You might look young. But you're now, what, a thousand years old, right~?

[blushes a bit] I... kind of thought so too. [but then he met you...]

[Too shocked to reply right away. If he had been drinking he would have choked on it.]

So mean, so mean~~ Toilet cleaning duties? That's a deal.

It's going to be just fine. I don't need to go to the clinic! [It's very hard to say no to those eyes, though.]

Poor boy! It's horrible to lose the ones you love, especially if you blame yourself for their deaths. How does he deal with it, usually?

[Tsuzuki saw how Hijiri blushed, so he takes the opportunity to ruffle his hair a little. It's been too long since he saw him, but now he remembers what it was like to talk with Hijiri.]

Will I get to meet the lucky guy?

[he's just going to laugh~ ♥ That look on your face is absolutely priceless~]

Deal! [holds out a pinky to seal the deal]

[just going to look silently and slightly disapprovingly at you, with just a tiniest pout]

It is but there's no need to overreact like he does. He normally tries to keep everyone from getting close to him. He can be very friendly and is a flirt but he tends to keep everyone at a distance. He's better now.

[and that makes him blush a little more, then nods] Of course you will. His name's Duo and he's got this really long braid so you can't miss him. And you're coming to live with us so you're absolutely going to meet him. I'm not losing you or Hisoka again.

[Hooks Hijiri's pinkie with his own] How does this verse go again..? Something about thousand needles.

[The pout does it.] All right. If it doesn't go away in, say... ten minutes, then I'll go to the clinic. [He hopes his powers will kick in to take care of it before he has to.]

He sounds like he's great fun to be around. Better how? Does he allow people to know him better?

[Tsuzuki blushes just a little at that.] Live with you? Really?

If you break the promise, you'll have to drink 1,000 needles!

[thinks about it] Okay... [and will be staring at your wound now]

He is! [nods] Well, at least he's let me get very close and we've been together for quite a while now.

[looks up] Yes. You'll have to stay with us. You will stay with us, right? Hisoka is staying with us. You two might have to share a room since there are others there too, but that shouldn't be too big a problem, right? [and looks at him hopefully]

That's terrible! But at least we have our promise now.

[Tsuzuki vaguely wished he was clothed. So. Diversion time!] You said we have been here before?

That's good. You deserve someone that sees how wonderful you are. And if you've managed to get him to feel like he's not responsible for the death of his loved ones, then you've done something truly remarkable for him.

[As if he could say no that that AND the puppy eyes to begin with.]Of course I will. Nothing would make me happier, Hijiri.

...What do you mean, 'share a room'? Does Hisoka know? He doesn't, does he. --Hisoka will kill me!

[laughs] But that's how it goes!

Yeah, you and Hisoka and Watari. All 3 of you were here when I'd first arrived.

[and blushes more, rubbing a bit at the back of his head in embarrassment] Uh... thanks, Tsuzuki. I don't think I've really done that much...

Thank you, Tsuzuki!! [and hugging you again! Then looks up and smiles~] He will know soon enough! You don't want to? It's not like you'll be sharing a bed~

Is there more to the grizzly promise-rhyme?

I wonder why I can't remember it. Were we nice?

[Tsuzuki's eyes brightened at that. Making Hijiri blush was clearly something he enjoyed.] I'm sure your boyfriend thinks otherwise.

[Hugs are good and nice! And Tsuzuki hugs back, adding a hair-ruffling.] I don't mind. I just don't want him to feel uncomfortable. If he says yes, then I will. You know I wouldn't mind living with you.
