[Despite the nice break, the week's been filled with death and ghosts. It makes him think about the cycle of life and death, how easily the balance can be disturbed.

Up until now, Tsuzuki hasn't seen the afterworld that is unique to Luceti. He knows it must exist, though.]

What is the afterlife like, back where you come from?

Draco hasn't come back yet, has he? He should have been back by now.

[Spock looks at the screen in confusion regarding the statement about 'trust', and raises an eyebrow...]

That is a matter of personal opinion. I do not know the Captain's thoughts on the matter.
Though it does seem as though we work well as a command team, and that requires a certain amount of trust.

[Spock looks at Tsuzuki again...] Do not let second guessing hinder you. It is as you say, a normal human response.

If he relies on you in the way you described, then I'm willing to bet that he trusts you.

[Even though it is nearly impossible to withstands his own instinct just like that, Tsuzuki realizes that he feels better.]

[Spock considers the man on the screen for a moment...]

Perhaps you would be amenable to meeting in person at a later date?

I'd like that. What do you say to meeting at the bakery?

Very well, I have not yet had the chance to visit that establishment.

I will meet you there momentarily.

[The screen goes blank, and Spock makes his way to the bakery.]

[WAIT he thought meeting later! That causes him a little panic until he finds his shoes and jacket and runs out the door. To the bakery he goes!]

[Spock is waiting in the bakery, his back to the door and observing his surroundings...]

[Just then, a hand knocks at the window next to his table. Tsuzuki breathes in large gulps of air that escapes him, looking like white clouds in the cold weather. By a pure stroke of luck, Tsuzuki, out of breath and ruffled from running, recognized him from the video.]

[He grins quickly, hurrying to the bakery's door.]

[Spock gives him an amused look and stands to greet his eager companion.]

Greetings Mister Asato, it is well to meet you in person.

[It takes him by surprise to be called by his first name, after such a long time. He smiles and reaches for his hand, since he expects that Spcok will greet him like a Westerner. His hand is cold from the chilly walk.]

I normally just go by Tsuzuki, mr. Spock. It's good to finally meet you.

[Spock looks at the hand... shields his mind as best as he can, and grasps it.
His hands are cold...
Spock gestures to the seat across from him.]

Very well... Tsuzuki. Thank you for agreeing to meet with me. I had realized that you may have not necessarily meant right now.

It's okay. I didn't have much else planned for today.

[Spock looks even more interesting in person. Tsuzuki can't help but glance at the ears and eyebrows, wondering if he has magic in his blood. Smiling gratefully, he moves to the seat, but freezes before he sits. ]

Do you want me to go get us something? Rapunzel makes some amazing cinnabons and cupcakes.

I do not have much experience when it comes to confectionery... I will allow you to...as they say, 'surprise me'. [Spock says this with amusement in his eyes and a half-smile.]

You won't regret it. I am an expect or things like this!

Very well... I will adhere to your 'expertise'...

[Spock sits and waits patiently...
