Just how long can someone stay dead here? Draco has been gone for over a week and he still hasn't come home.

[He sighs, running his fingers through his hair. It's worrying. Hisoka won't take it well if Draco doesn't return soon, and he doesn't know how much his sensitive partner can take.]

[Already regretting he put his thoughts in the journal, he changes the subject.]

Anyway. Welcome to town, new people. I'm Tsuzuki. If you need any help finding a place to stay, or just want to find a temple, I'm always around.

[In fact, if anyone is out to find him, they will be able to find him just where he'd sending the video from, the Tsukino Shrine. Later in the day he will take a walk in the woods to clear his head.]

[He glances down at the screen with an underplayed mixture of wonder and uncertainty.]

I... I apologize for troubling you, sir, but I am in need of your aid.

[Oh, he's in the mood for some lighthearted mischief today. His objective at present is to pass himself off as a victim of the Malnosso's experiments, lacking more than the dimmest memories of his true personality and how he lived in the enclosure before his capture.

Acting as if he is someone else harkens back to the trick he had gleefully played on Helios long ago when a shift had transformed his appearance into that of a man he had once loved. Hm. If he could gain entry to the man's home by way of invitation, perhaps there would be a repeat of his success. It had been a while since he had put his long, nimble fingers to work swiping things from someone when they turned the other way. Stealing from the shops wasn't quite stealing when there was nothing to pay for - and moreover, it wasn't very satisfying.

For this occasion, he has removed his shirt and gone through the trouble of donning New Feather pants he had kept from his re-entry into Luceti in March. Hopefully the tattoos winding around his body aren't off-putting.]

[The innocent look and attire does the trick. Tsuzuki's wings flick as he recognizes the tell-tale new feather clothes, but not the man.]

[His gaze does dwell on the tattoos long enough to remind him of Yakuza - and alarm him a bit- but Tsuzuki knows that he's not in Japan anymore and ought to be more accepting.]

Don't worry about it. What's wrong?

I am in need of a place where I may rest... [He gazes skyward at the forest canopy for a brief moment, his breath misting silver in the air.] Just for a moment. [It's a sacrifice, wandering shirtless as a man who is elementally sensitive to ice and colder temperatures - but he is determined to bear it as he has before. What didn't kill one made one stronger.

He pinches his eyes shut, bringing a hand to his forehead as with a sudden stab of pain in his skull.]

This place is familiar to me... I feel it. I know it, deep within me. But I cannot... [He peters off, making as if the effort of thought exacerbates the headache.]

[It's almost too easy. Tsuzuki gasps softly when he sees what he believes is pain, because he immediately wants to help in some way. It's too cold to be outside and dressed that poorly, and when you add pain to that mix it's impossible for Tsuzuki to stay away.]

Wait! Where are you right now? I can come and lead you to town.

I haven't seen any sign of Moro, either.

Me neither. She's not in the part of the woods she usually stays in.

That's... that's really weird. I don't know what could have happened. I check all over, and... I haven't found anything.

[It's a good day for a quick hunt. The ritual of track, trail, and kill is soothing at this point. He doesn't expect to find a lovely man wandering about instead of a lovely doe. He slides back onto the trail and wanders up, silent as death before he announced himself.]

Good evening for a walk, yes?

[Cautiously, he cracks his eyes open, white irises sliding to one side.]

I know not where I am, beyond - - [Isaac breaks off suddenly, a choked, half-stifled noise issuing from his lips. Being intimately familiar with pain and the suffering of others, he can mimic it fairly convincingly the rare occasions when a situation calls for it.]

- - that I am in the woods. But... there is something in the distance. Let me show you. [He thinks to hold the journal out and offer Tsuzuki a brief glimpse of his surroundings. That is likely the Battledome peeking through the trees as they sway and rustle in the wind.]

I pray that our paths shall soon cross... Tsuzuki.

[Eley will be wandering the forest himself as he so often did. And sure enough he just so happens to spot Tsuzuki out for a walk as well. If it was anyone else he might have let them be but... well, why not at least greet him? He approaches him now, offering a slight wave.]

Tsuzuki... what are you doing out here?

[Maiza has no answer for Tsuzuki, but he does have a question.]

How long do people usually, er, stay dead here?

Yeah.

Did she go on the draft, too?

Usually a week or so. I think.

[The letters are small and precise, every stroke slowly performed as though it were calligraphy. Ballpoint pen calligraphy at least.]

Perhaps those killed via suicide aren't allowed to be brought back here.

[Tsuzuki's reply is nothing at all like Hisoka's controlled, fine handwriting. The words are scribbled carelessly and messily, although it does have a trace of elegance to it.]

That's impossible, and you know it.

I still don't think he killed himself.

Just walking.

[But he's glad to see a familiar face, and speeds up to greet him properly - that is, with a hug.]

Is this where you normally stay?

She... She did. She got infected, and... and- We didn't know how any other way...

[Tsuzuki jumps when he's startled, and if there was any doubt he was shocked, his ruffled feathers show the story even better than his face. Luckily, he already knows Zevran, so the surprise turns to a grin soon enough.]

[Now if only his heart would stop beating so fast. Zevran gets the dubious honor of being the first hunter he's seen in action in Luceti. Tsuzuki's so used to getting all his supplies from the stores.]

What are you doing out here?

[sdfghdsgf all right, Eley wasn't quite expecting such a powerful greeting and he can't help but tense up a bit as Tsuzuki comes up to hug him! And unfortunately he's not really sure how to reciprocate so just ends up standing awkwardly, perhaps blushing a little at the same time...

Let's just answer that question.]

Ah... yes. I like to wander the forest... I usually go to the mountains if I wish to be alone.

Aha- so you remember my name. Excellent.

[He cracks an easy laugh and reaches out with a gloved hand to pat Tsuzuki's shoulder. It takes a great deal of restraint not to reach back and smooth his feathers down, but Zev manages it. Besides.

When they're all fluffed out it is somewhat adorable.]

Hunting. I was tracking a doe for the past hour, but I think I've found more fascinating prey.

[That's just fine. He knows the god is unaccustomed to hugs. It's just that he intends to ease him into it, one hug at a time. Tsuzuki firmly believes that is a good way to feel like a real, happy human being.]

You didn't want to be alone now, did you?

How do you know? Have you heard of anyone taking their own life here?

[He's done some investigation about the matter of death in Luceti, so he can offer at least a little information on the matter.]

It's always a week at minimum, but sometimes there's a slight variation in the timing.
