Fuda # 4 [Action/video] Failure is the only option

[OOC: Pretend I posted this days ago! D: Tsuzuki had a little run-in with River earlier. Being him, he thought he'd limp stagger walk the injuries off on the way home. He's still kind of dazed about all of it, really. It might just be the blood-loss speaking.]

[The feed comes on by accident, showing a very quiet shinigami. He's carrying one wing under his arm as if it was a newspaper, and his shirt is no longer white. Tsuzuki winces as he bends down to untie his shoes, but he'd determined to be as quiet as he can about going inside.]

[That's necessary pain. Sheik shakes his head. Healing goes against his nature somewhat, so it feels rather wrong to him to be doing this. But still, he manages enough, and he pulls the towel away to check if he's sufficiently stopped the bleeding.]

[His body responds incredibly well to healing spells, so the skin looks pink and better already. The wound is still bleeding slightly, but definitely not as seriously as it did earlier.]

[Tsuzuki, who previously has stroked the feathers on his cut off wing, offered the feathered lump to Sheik.] Is there anything to be done with this?

[Well that's new to Sheik. Normally his healing isn't that effective. He sets the towel aside and takes the wing. There's nothing to be done about that and he shakes his head. He can't reattach it. Tsuzuki will have to wait for it to grow back on its own.]

[Off with the shirt, now. He should get that cleaned up and bandaged now.]

[Tsuzuki was startled and sad that he'd lost a wing, but tried to hide it. The shirt suffered a slice from the knife, so Tsuzuki fusses with the buttons on the remainder of the fabric.]

That was my favorite tie. [He says it offhandedly and indignantly, taking off his black tie that's been cut cleanly in half. He puts it down on the sink, before taking off his shirt.]

[He'll have to get a new one just like it, then. Sheik disappears from the room for a few moments, then returns with several rolls of bandages. Then he gets another towel and starts gently washing the blood away from the wound.]

[The moment of solitude gives Tsuzuki time to put things in perspective. His stomach hurts and itches, but he takes it as a good sign. It might be healing on its own.]

[He sits as still as he can, while Sheik takes care of him. It's not easy. Tsuzuki wants to help, somehow, but he's run out of ideas. He bows his head.]

[Sheik nods. It's all right. He doesn't terribly mind. He pats the area dry, then starts bandaging Tsuzuki up.]

[There, all done. Any other things he can help patch up?]

[To Tsuzuki, such willingness to help is really rare. He reaches a hand out and smiles weakly, but not unkindly. Sheik has already done a lot for him, he can deal with the stab-wound himself.]

Can I have that roll of bandages?

[Sheik nods and hands them over. He's okay with letting Tsuzuki take over from here. He starts cleaning up the blood he's gotten on the sink, carefully skirting the severed wing for now.]
