Fuda # 14 | Still no sign of Hisoka. :(

Is it just me, or did a lot of new feathers show up lately? ...I hope this means Hisoka will come back soon.

Anyway, I've been trying to count how many types of animals are around. So far I've seen squirrels, dead bees, a giant white dog and a deer. Oh, and Foot, Draco and Epona, but they're domesticated. Sort of.

What kind of animals have you seen in the nearby forest?

[Later day day, Tsuzuki did as he had said. Luceti had some wonderful bars, but that was to be expected. Since the occupants of the city had to deal with experiments it was only natural they'd want to drown their sorrows afterwards.]

[He's sitting by the bar, with his back towards the door.]

[Sneaks in and inches up close behind him finally stealing a stool next to him.]

[He sounds surprised and relieved. Drinking alone makes his mind go unpleasant places - it's always better to have company.]

[Leans on the bar with one arm, still looking guarded, but she is there.]

No sign of your friend, Hisoka, was it?

Oh, Hisoka doesn't drink. [He might possibly already be tipsy, since he's been in the bar for a while already. Tsuzuki picks up his own glass, smiling weakly.]

What are you getting?

Oh, just a Bordeaux will be fine. If they have it.

Have you been here long? I hope I didn't keep waiting much more than just to whet the appetite. [Small playful grin.]

I came here in the sprin--Oh you mean the bar. No, I haven't waited long.

[He gestures to the bartender. Luckily, the bar is well-stacked, and the bartender comes with a fine glass and a bottle.]

Did you have any trouble finding the place?

Nope!

It's a little different than what I'm used to, but not so bad. They could use a jazz singer though.

That's true. Do you know any?

[Tsuzuki takes a sip out of his glass.]

Not as often as I'd like. It's not fun to drink alone.

Kind of. I'm not sure how much it applies here though.

Oh? I guess people do tend to prefer drinking socially. That's why bars exist after all. Got a personal reason for it though?
