Fuda # 17 | [Video/action]

[Tsuzuki is up early today, gathering up scraps and old bread. When his bag is filled, he sleepily dresses in his winter attire, humming on a song he can only remember in fragments.]

I want a cracker like an animal
You whip me like I'm in OZ.

[He picks up the communicator, not realizing that it's been recording the whole time.]

[To his defense, he just woke up.]

Hi, I was just wondering... does anyone have any leftover bread? There's a family of deer in the woods that I want to feed.

[ . . . ]

[He really doesn't want to hang the little stick-man.]

[But he had 3 more tries, right?]

I?

Yes, I think that works!

[He places the letter in the slot, showing off the half-finished word: _ E _ I _ _ ]

Do you want another hint?
distressedude: (That's what I'm talkin' 'bout.)

[Ah, he got one! That gets a smile.]

Yes, please.
distressedude: (I never realized...)

[Mythological... hopefully it isn't something world-specific. He takes a moment to think before writing:]

T?

[That would be the wisest thing, unfortunately Tsuzuki didn't consider that.]

Sorry.

[Tsuzuki reluctantly draws the torso of the stickman. His small, beady eyes looks like they're pleading even more!]

It's okay if you don't want to continue, you know.
distressedude: (But where are we going?)

[Ion just shakes his head, discouraged but still determined to try and save that little stick man! ...hopefully. Sob.]

K?

[Uhm... Tsuzuki tries in vain to think up a words that has K in it. If he could just switch it out before Ion figured it out, they could save the stick-figure... But no, he can't think up anything, so an arm is drawn.]

Do you want another hint?
distressedude: (I see you creepin')

[Aw, Tsuzuki is such a nice guy. Too bad that's still not going to save the stick man, will it?]

Yes.

They usually have horns.

Want to try again?
distressedude: (Wait what?)

[Wait just a second.]

[Tsuzuki said it was someone you don't want to meet. That would imply a person wouldn't it?]

[But.]

[Horns...]

I'm starting to think I may not actually know the word you're thinking of.

[identity profile] purpledemoneyes.livejournal.com 2011-02-05 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh.

[Long pause. He's trying to wonder if there's a rule that says they can start over if that happens.]

[Well, nothing bad will happen if he makes that rule right now.]

Then we have to start over with a new word! Is that okay with you?
distressedude: (You're so kind!)

[personal profile] distressedude 2011-02-08 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[He may not have guessed the word, but the stick-man is saved! ...for now.]

That would be all right. Although, out of curiosity, what was the first word supposed to be?

Devils. I take it you don't have those where you're from?

[Tsuzuki erases the half-finished game, chewing on the end of the pencil while he tries to think of a new word.]

Not as far as I know.

[Which means they very well might have existed in folklore or legends, but... well, there isn't any way he'd have known about them.]

Are they something common in your world?

[Written]

[identity profile] purpledemoneyes.livejournal.com 2011-02-16 01:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Not that common. I'm more familiar with demons. Have you ever heard of those?

[Tsuzuki taps his chin with the pen, thinking.]

Maybe we should select a category before I choose a word.
