[It's not often he visits the library. It's often stuffy and too quiet, and he never remembers enough authors to consider the rows of books a treasure trove the way his partner does. However, today he is in luck. On the window sill, a sparrow tends to its nest, feeding three little baby-birds.]

[On the branch some feet away, a bird of prey watched the scene, just as interested as Tsuzuki.]

That isn't going to end well.

Hisoka, calm down! [That kind of yelling only makes Tsuzuki think Hisoka's going to have a fit, holding onto Hisoka's jacket as if it's a leash. At least he's not annoyed anymore.]

[NOT. HELPING.]

[Hope you expected some magic, Tsuzuki. Because, although he's jerked backward, there's a surge of electricity flowing between their bodies as Hisoka scrambles to put some distance between them.]

[Holy shit, he will never get used to those.]

[He shields his face just before the blast hits, pushing him violently to the ground.]

[He falls off-balance and collapses easily to the ground, scrambling back to his feet as quickly as he can manage. Distance. He needs distance.]

What's wrong with you?

[He balks, getting to his feet as quickly as he can, too.]

What's wrong with me? You're the one trying to murder me with magic, unless you failed to notice!

Oh, that's it? That's the only reason? .....Are you aware of how messed up you are?

[He grimaces.] Please stop. I don't want to talk about this right now.

I don't want to. [Tsuzuki crosses his arms.] Think about it. What if I hurt you every time you did something I didn't like?

[Eyeroll.] I meant physically hurt.

Then I'll make your day easier.

[And with that said, he turns to walk back to the library. There's got to be something more productive to do with his day than waste it on someone who doesn't even want to be around him.]

Tsuzuki! [He'll turn back in the same direction, taking care to stay out of arm's length.] ..Please don't be upset with me.

I'm not upset. [He's not even going to care enough to wait for Hisoka to catch up.] I'm just sick of the way you treat me.

You've never been this upset about it before. [And he's genuinely been trying to change this week! Haven't you noticed, partner? D:]

Get off my case, Hisoka. I'm doing what you wanted. [Namely, giving his partner enough rope to hang himself with. He has noticed that Hisoka's been more helpful lately, but he's also noticed how often he pushes him away. It makes his blood boil for some reason, and he's not happy about it.]

Tsuzuki, you kissed me. What did you expect me to do?

I don't know. Maybe not scream and run away? I mean, am I that horrible to be close to?

You know that's not what it was about.

But it was. The rest were just excuses.

[He looks on coldly. Hisoka can't possibly be crying over that. He refuses to believe it.]

[Whimpering, he catches up to Tsuzuki only to pull himself close. Is it okay to cry into your shirt, partner? Please?]

[Cry at your own risk, wimp. Tsuzuki tilts his head, putting his hands in his pockets.]
