[It had been a pretty sucky week. Tsuzuki doesn't want to show Hisoka the letters Yuri left for them when she was sent home. He suspects his partner is taking her disappearance hard enough as it is. But what is he supposed to do?]

[The answer is to pretend there's no problem. He taps his pen on the paper as he thinks, turning to the journal eventually.]

Out of curiosity, if you could only choose one word to describe your best friend, what would it be?

It is... not something I feel towards humans particularly often. I am glad that it makes you happy however.

[He's not quite expecting the next suggestion either and hesitates a moment. He's still not used to being inside people's homes so the thought never really occurred to him to go and visit for friendship's sake.]

Ah, it had not crossed my mind. If you are sure I would not be intruding, I would not be opposed to the idea though.

[He notices the hesitation, even though it's subtle.]


We could make dinner together. What do you like to eat?

[Ah, cooking. That was something he had wanted to practice a little more after trying it out with Cecilia.]

Hmm, I do not have much of a preference. There is much that I have not tried to eat let alone cook. If you would like to show me something... I would be more than willing to attempt to make it.

We could try to bake a cake, if you want. If you haven't had apple yet, it's about time!

[Cake... That was something people made for birthdays right? Eley quite liked the idea of learning to make one if only for that reason.]

I would certainly like to try to bake a cake. I cannot say I have tasted apple yet either. Both will be a good experience for me.

You haven't? Apple pie is probably one of the best things in the world.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you try it.

Ah, well then... we should probably arrange a time for me to visit. What would be convenient for you?
