Fuda #42 [action/video]
[If anyone walks past house 25 today, they will notice that is looks dark and abandoned. On the front door, someone has nailed a piece of paper. It says:
Hisoka and I has moved to Community house 5, room 4 on the ground floor. Draco has gone home.
-Tsuzuki
[The room number is underlined twice. He doesn't want anyone to come to the wrong part of the building by mistake.
There are too many goodbyes. After a while the body simply doesn't have enough energy to grieve for all of them, no matter how much it wants to. Tsuzuki doesn't know how to deal with it just yet, but he does know that he needs to at least pretend things are fine. That's why he takes his normal trip to the bakery and then to the temple during the rainy day. Rei is nowhere to be found at the temple, which is a huge red flag to him. She would have never left it without telling anyone. He does his best to make the temple stay clean and welcoming while he waits for her to come back.
When he goes to his new home, he makes sure to bring some real green and some snacks for Hisoka, as a way to try to cheer him up.]
Sorry about the mess. Do you want some help with the unpacking?
[Once he's hung his coat to dry, he opens his journal and presses the video function.]
I see we've gotten some more new people in town. How are you all settling in?

( video. )
Hello! I'm doing fine and thank you so much for inquiring. Everyone has been nothing but kind to me since I came here so it's a relief. My head is still spinning from some things but I'll try to keep a chin up!
( video. )
[Adapting to the change is a good sign. It means she's confident. In Tsuzuki's corner, it's apparent he's sitting in his own living room. The shoulders of his shirt is still wet from the rain, but he doesn't seem to mind the chill.]
Hey, have you gotten to explore the town yet? We have a fantastic tea shop.
( video. )
Why yes, I love tea! It's such a relief to know that it is still here. Is that where you went in this weather? ( She notices the wet spots on his shoulders. ) I noticed your clothes are a bit damp. I do hope you don't catch a cold, Monsieur...?
( video. )
Oh, no. Today I had to take care of the shrine. Otherwise I would've stayed at home today.
[He waves the question off, seeing as he doesn't get colds. It's not something he wants to draw attention to.]
How long have you been in town?
( video. )
( Just. Don't ask for help from her when it's raining. Thank you. )
Ah? I've been only here for a day or two. I think. ( Adalinda tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, her shoulders briefly slumping down in a moment of feigned melancholy. ) When I first woke up, I was so confused and distressed that I simply wandered and did not keep track of time. It has has been quite an experience to be here but people like you and others have been a great assistance so I must thank you for it.
( video. )
[He's good enough at guessing to know that working in the rain is fun for exactly no one. Tsuzuki's not going to start demanding that of people. With an attentive look on his face, he straightens the journal so the feed looks better.]
You're that new? I hope your wings have stopped aching.
( video. )
When he mentions her wings, she decides to go along with it and winces like she was reminded of the subtle shades of pain she felt at the moment. )
They are still tender, monsieur. ( She tries to smile away her discomfort, doing her best to look like she's making the best of the aches she is (not) experiencing. ) I hope this is something that fades away soon or is not a common thing with our wings. I always was never one of perfect health and I don't think adding on more thing to my list is something my physician will approve of.
( video. )
They're going to get better son, I promise. But if they hurt too much for you, I can always try to find some painkillers.
( video. )
Is everyone here so kind as I've been experiencing since getting here? Everyone is so eager to help the newcomers! ( Besides one or two lovely people or things but details, details. )
