And what would I benefit from having a useless child of a shingami on my side? [He tests the bonds as soon as Hisoka steps away, before he decides to leave it be. Healing would have to be his main priority first. That, and paying attention to the damned boy. Clearly irritated, he turns slightly towards Hisoka.] What are you doing?

You tell me. You're the one making offers. [He does his best to appear disinterested, even though he is SO watching you Sargatanas. :|] Handling some affairs. What about it?

No, shinigami. An offer would be to say "let me go, and I will not torture you much". [He moves around, although it's like watching a drunk man. The floor slippery from the blood, he has terrible balance, and he's not even healed yet. He blames all his misery on the brat in front of him.]

And yet somehow, I find it in myself to decline. [He's watching Tsuzuki flounder with suspicion, suspecting that it's all an act.]

[Knowing the demon, it is very likely. He looks up at Hisoka, wondering what he'd could say to hit best.] ....Why did you do it?

Why did I do what? [He mumbles disinterestedly, scribbling a note in the journal; he knows he's outmatched and overpowered and only still in one piece via extraordinary luck.]

Why did you put on the wig and hide in the bedroom? You must have realized I'd come. [He almost is more annoyed with bookish!Hisoka. At least when Hisoka played with his gun, he wasn't bored.]

Because I wasn't about to let you violate the laws like that. [Well that's too bad, Demonface. He doesn't much care what you think.]

Really? [The problem with handling demons is that they're empathically silent. He raises a brow and stares at Hisoka, attempting to see if his barbs have any effects.] Funny how you forgot all about the laws once you were half-naked.

...That didn't happen. [Because he remembers that night, more vividly than he'd prefer to admit.]

[So does the demon, but he also hears how Hisoka's voice changed when he replied. He presses on.] If I hadn't put that cleaver in you, it would have.

Then it's a shame you were too busy being bloodthirsty. Now you'll never know for sure.

It's more your loss than mine. [He tugs sharply on the bindings, hoping it wasn't noticed.] Perhaps I should try this body out, when I get home.

You haven't done anything to deserve pity. [He's tempted to shoot him for the hell of it, but for now he'll indulge.]

[If he lets up, it only means that the demon will look for more ways to attack him instead. Although Sargatanas has been acting more or less civil, he has counted every bullet Hisoka has put in him, and he's not above getting revenge.] And I never will.

Hn. [Sargatanas is trying to bait him, obviously so. Hisoka assumed it'll be more irritating to flip through the journal and continue appearing nonchalant.]

[It is. He snarls, turning away from Hisoka and is suspiciously silent.]
