Fuda # 11 [Action/Video] Happy birthday, grumpypants.

[The feed is currently showing the living room of number 49. Tsuzuki's up on a small ladder, trying to fasten a birthday-banner to the ceiling. Hisoka's birthday is today, and he's planning on surprising him with cake and presents. His poor partner's been feeling so down lately, Tsuzuki hopes that this might distract him from his gloom.]

[Feel free to interrupt him.]

[Tsuzuki wonders if he should help. Still, he holds his hands to himself until Hisoka asks about aid.] I thought that was the side of us you liked.

[No. No helping! He eventually stops wriggling around though and settles into a fuzzball on Hisoka's thigh, sniffing at the air.]

Right. I marched right up to the chief and asked for the whiniest most ineffectual partner he could give me. And then I came here and scoured the landscape for someone exactly like you. [Fuzzballs are acceptable. Carry on.]

[The sarcasm bounces off Tsuzuki like water off a duck.] Exactly! That reminds me, I never got to give you your birthday present. Do you think Draco would mind?

[Stupid ducks. Draco would most certainly mind if that means Hisoka has to get up and move, and he makes that fairly clear by stretching as far as possible across Hisoka's lap. No. No moving.]

[There's some uncomfortable shifting from him as the subject of "present" gets brought up again, though he settles once Draco starts marking his territory.] I think he might. I told you I didn't need anything from you, anyway.

[Real subtle, Draco, Owner of Hisoka's Lap.] Why not? Is there something wrong with my presents?

[Ferretco definitely is owner of Hisoka's lap, thanks. Streeetching his lanky body further to make himself bigger.]

N--no, It's just. You don't have to. [That's fine. It's an excuse to not move~ Somehow, even as a ferret Draco makes it easy to regress into the whole "used to have servants to do all that ~walking~ stuff for me" routine. GJ, bestie.]

But I don't mind. I like giving presents. [If Ferretco is going to be so possessive, Tsuzuki is going to touch Hisoka's wings again. He can't have both the lap and the wings, so there.]

[But maybe he should fetch the present. Tsuzuki bends down to search under the bed.]

....How does ferrets get that long, anyway? It looks like Draco got stuck in a tube.

[Draco's the best bestie ever, really. He's fine with Tsuzuki petting the boy's wings, but that comment about the tube earns him a hiss. Oy! Shut up! However he's going to stop moving to watch what Tsuzuki's doing. Presents are kind of cool no matter what.]

[Hisoka is also fine with petting--WAIT WHY SO SHORT. Jerk. He barely has time to get properly comfortable before Tsuzuki's flitting off again to present a gift that Hisoka has no idea how to accept. So he's just going to be petting his ferret and linefacing a little harder than usual.]

Why does any animal look the way it does? I don't know. It's not like he's staying like this anyway.

[The gift was hidden under the bed, so Tsuzuki doesn't have to go far to find it. It's long and slender, wrapped in emerald green paper. He places it by Hisoka's side, a little out of the ferret's reach.] Why was he turned into a ferret, of all animals? Do you think it was a random animal the spell chose?

Anyway, here you go.

[You're damn right he's not staying this way. He's sulking though when the present goes out of his reach, even moreso when Tsuzuki asks that question. It's because Moody's an arsehole, that's why. Well, Barty Crouch Jr., but still. He's more curious about the package so he's discreetly shifting to sniff at it.]

You wrapped it and everything? [This could potentially get to be so very awkward. Hisoka unwraps the corner of the box first, being careful with the wrapping paper ~~because he's one of those boring gift-openers who doesn't like to tear paper~~.] Hm? Oh no, he's been one before.

I had enough time, so I thought it would be nice. [He looks at the present intently. Tsuzuki is the kind of gift-openers that tear the paper off, so this is frustrating to watch for him. If only Draco could jump up on it and 'help' Hisoka unwrap the gift, that would have made everything so much easier.] The Malnosso's made him into a ferret before, too?

[Ferretco is kind of tempted to get in there, but mostly because of an unnatural urge to chew and claw at the paper. He does paw at it a little to try and get across the message Hisoka has to open it faster, but he hisses again at Tsuzuki's suggestion. How dare you insinuate that he be foolish enough to let them do this twice.]

[Oh both of you calm down it'll be open when he gets it open and not a moment before. Sheesh. It's not taking all that long anyway.] ...Something like that. [Hiss all you want, bro, but he's not going to give out your life story.]

[This is taking too looooong. Bomb-dismantling would be faster. Tsuzuki takes one of Hisoka's wings in hand again, petting the fluff, since his partner will take ages before he sees what he chose as a present.] Can he do spells while he's a ferret, or does he need hands for that?

[At least there aren't any red or blue wires to cut. Ferretco hisses briefly at the signs of pettings, but he's also trying to chew at the paper. Present! Want to seeeee. However at Tsuzuki's question he draws his attention from the package and back at the man. Are you serious bro? Really?]

[He gives Tsuzuki a halfhearted side-glare, but doesn't give him enough attention to properly convey his annoyance that the question was even asked. There. Paper's open and he's pulling the gift out. IS EVERYONE HAPPY NOW? Jerks.]

[YES. Tsuzuki holds his breath as he waits. The shop keeper had reassured him that the sword was a genuine article, and to Tsuzuki's knowledge it felt heavy enough to be well-made. He looks to Hisoka to see if the gift's approved or not.] Do you remember that night when I caught you practicing with your training sword?

[There is something shiny and pointy. Draco kind of approves right now, but that might be because he's a ferret. Have a questioning squeak and movement to attempt to sniff at the gift. Okay jerkface, where's mine?]
