Fuda # 11 [Action/Video] Happy birthday, grumpypants.

[The feed is currently showing the living room of number 49. Tsuzuki's up on a small ladder, trying to fasten a birthday-banner to the ceiling. Hisoka's birthday is today, and he's planning on surprising him with cake and presents. His poor partner's been feeling so down lately, Tsuzuki hopes that this might distract him from his gloom.]

[Tsuzuki comes over, looking very proud of the handywork. Hisoka brooding over this? Now what could give Sheik that idea?]

[Now wear this colorful party hat I carried over to you.]

[The hat is promptly pulled back off again. No, no, no, he's not wearing ridiculous things, Tsuzuki.]

[Tsuzuki watches Sheik tear the hat off, and is about to object. Then he remembers that with Duo gone, their little group is in pain. He places a hand on Sheik's shoulder tentatively, offering comfort.]

Sheik. Will you please stay downstairs with us? Link and I got enough cake for everyone.

[Sheik looks almost as though he might decline. But, Tsuzuki looks pretty hopeful. He turns over the hat in his hands, then nods. Oh, all right, he'll stay for a little while at least. Although he's none too keen on the cake idea. Unless it's chocolate flavor. Then he might be interested.]

[Tsuzuki moves his hand around Sheik's shoulder instead, giving him a one-armed hug.] Thank you. Want to come and test some of the frosting with me?

[What kind of birthday would it be without chocolate? Just don't try the pink muffins if Sheik values his life.]

[...Frosting? Hmm... all right. He's not really a fan of it, but he's not going to put up a fuss over anything today. He reaches up to give Tsuzuki's hand a squeeze, then heads toward the kitchen. Part of him is saying 'don't do it!' for fear of what mess the boys might have made in there.]

[Delicious chocolate, strawberry and green tea frosting. They all need to be tested out, clearly. :D Tsuzuki hasn't made too much of a mess in the kitchen (Link helped create the little mess that there is), so he's happy and bouncy as he walks with Sheik towards it.]

[The fact that Link helped is what worries Sheik. He stops to examine the different frostings, then looks over at Tsuzuki. These?]

[Tsuzuki grins, whispering.] Try the pink one.

[Hmm... okay, where's a spoon. Sheik goes to get one from the drawer and goes back to the frostings. He scoops up a little bit with the tip of the spoon. ...Who made this?]

[Tsuzuki fetches a second spoon, dipping it in the green frosting.] M-hm, that one! [He gestures towards the pink one too Sheik's left.] Link made the green one, but we collaborated on the pink. I need to know if it needs more sugar.

[Sheik's all the more skeptical. He knows Link's not exactly the best cook. Hopefully this little bit won't hurt... He pops the end of the spoon in his mouth.]

[The pink is probably too sweet and tasting faintly of strawberries and lime. But it shouldn't be gag-worthy, since neither Link nor Tsuzuki tried to deviate from the recipe too much. Tsuzuki's green frosting on the other hand, is positively lethal.] How is it?

[Well, unless you're Sheik, in which case too much sugar can be gag-worthy. Sheik has a little more tact than that though and settles for a faint look of disgust. "Too sweet".]

[Tsuzuki tastes the green one, proving he has no working taste buds.] How about the chocolate one? It's made from dark chocolate, so it's more bitter than sweet.

[Sheik is beginning to wonder why he let himself get roped into this. Still, he'll have a taste of the chocolate one all the same.]
