[On the branch some feet away, a bird of prey watched the scene, just as interested as Tsuzuki.]

[Not answering, he simply takes a hold of Hisoka's wrist.]

[He lets himself be grabbed, eyes downcast.]

[Tsuzuki turns to stand in front of him, his other hand ending up beneath Hisoka's chin.]

It's a nice day, don't you think?

Beautiful. [He doesn't really feel like turning his eyes up to look.]

[He nudges his chin to make Hisoka lift his head anyway.] Maybe you should look before saying things like that.

[He looks up then, because Tsuzuki wants him to look.] I saw it earlier. It hasn't changed.

[He bends down and steals a kiss.]

[He pulls away in a sudden swell of panic, eyes huge and terrified. This was kissing. Kissing is something Hisoka associates primarily as the thing that happens just before pain and forced sex and all the things that are wrong with intimacy. He feels small and weak and betrayed.]

[He smirks.]

Because you looked cute. Why else?

[He whimpers lightly, and backs away from Tsuzuki, almost scrambling to get out of arm's reach. That look feels like it's exploring a place deep under his clothes.]

[He simply thinks Hisoka is overreacting like a weakling. But, in the spirit of partnership, he follows slowly, reaching for him.] I'm not going to hurt you. Come here.

Please don't touch me right now.

[HE DOES NOT APPRECIATE THAT REACHING, THANKS.]

[Instead of being understanding, Tsuzuki is just annoyed. Here he showed Hisoka a romantic gesture, and all he gets in return is the cold shoulder. He takes hold of his shoulder.]

[He flinches away from that grip.] I SAID GET OFF!

Hisoka, calm down! [That kind of yelling only makes Tsuzuki think Hisoka's going to have a fit, holding onto Hisoka's jacket as if it's a leash. At least he's not annoyed anymore.]

[NOT. HELPING.]

[Hope you expected some magic, Tsuzuki. Because, although he's jerked backward, there's a surge of electricity flowing between their bodies as Hisoka scrambles to put some distance between them.]

[Holy shit, he will never get used to those.]

[He shields his face just before the blast hits, pushing him violently to the ground.]

[He falls off-balance and collapses easily to the ground, scrambling back to his feet as quickly as he can manage. Distance. He needs distance.]
