[The feed begins shakily, because Tsuzuki is trying to use it has a camcorder.]Be careful with him. He's still just a baby.

[Hisoka sounds exasperated, flipping a page in his book. Tsuzuki lifts his journal so he comes into focus: one of Hisoka's wings is clearly missing.] Tsuzuki, all cats land on their feet.

Are you sure? I mean, what if it's -

[Tsuzuki jumps out of his chair, putting his journal down briskly. From the camera's view, it looks like the world is turned upside down.] Poor Cake!

[The kitten is nowhere in sight. A confused mewling comes from beneath the couch. Why did the ground try to swallow him, humans? D:]

Yep. [A strong purring sounds grow in volume. Tsuzuki grins and lifts Cake away from his journal.] Foot's been considered a part of the family for a while, so it's the same for her kittens.

[ooc: GDI! Mea culpa, in that case. I'd edit it if I could.]

[That makes sense.] So that one is the one that decided to stay?

[ooc: maybe they all fight for the downstairs one since it has the nice tub.]

He is. From the very first time he saw Hisoka, he didn't want to leave him.

[Tsuzuki nuzzles the little kitten stomach, and Cake miraculously doesn't shred his face for it. The little guy has a good temper.]

Hey, Sheik. I seem to remember one of these ones following you around, too. What happened to it?

[ooc: That must be it. I mean, who wouldn't fight for an awesome tub.]

[Tsuzuki what the hell are you doing to that cat?] She is still with Foot as far as I'm aware.

[ooc: I like Hisoka has a monopoly better. Also, this thread reminds me I still have to pick a name for said kitten.]

I guess they're still kind of young to be on their own. [Snuggles! There's a small mewl, before Cake struggles out of Tsuzuki's hands. Pick on someone your own size! D:]

[ooc: it sure sounds like him. XD I love the name you picked for her, btw.]

[Tsuzuki, you are going to crush that little kitten.] Perhaps, or Foot is waiting for the right opportunity to let them go to their new homes.

[ooc: Samira is a pretty name and totally appropriate for Sheik's little kitten :3]

[Cake thinks so too. He mews once, a quick and defensive sound, which makes Tsuzuki ease up on the affection.] I hadn't thought about that. Do you think she'll let any of them stay if they want to?

[ooc: And I can't wait for Tsuzuki to meet her. :3c]

It is entirely possible. [But he has no idea for sure.]

[ooc: new journal yay.]

[Speaking of children. Tsuzuki muses out loud.] If I ever got children, I'd probably tell them they could stay home for as long as they wanted.

[ooc: I love the new username!]

You would be a generous father. [Pause as Sheik considers that line of thought.] If you could, would you have children, Tsuzuki?

You think so? [His eyes light up with hope for a small moment. It's gone as quickly as it comes, and is replaced by a guarded and happy.]

I think, that if things had been different, I would have liked kids.

[Oh don't go through sudden mood shifts like that. It's confusing.]

Do you believe that you will not have the opportunity now?

[He grows thoughtful, and his smile ends up becoming wry. It's been years since he's slept with anyone, and it doesn't seem like that is going to change.]

It would be a bit unlikely.

[Sheik understands the feeling. Sort of.]

Perhaps it might be, but there might be a possibility here. [Granted, there is that problem of inflicting the horrors of Luceti on young children, but there were a couple of families that began here.]

[The same thought runs through Tsuzuki's mind. Experiments and the possibility of him being sent home? He'd rather not put someone young and innocent through that.]

What about you?

I have thought about it. [He sounds a little sad, though.] But it would be best if I did not pursue that idea any further than a thought.

It was before I came here, wasn't it? [It's impossible to deny that it t makes him curious. Tsuzuki rests his face in his hand.]

There is more to it than that. [Yes, that does mean there was someone before.] I do not wish to speak of it here. [Meaning the journals.]

In that case, can I come over? [He hesitates.] Or did you mean you don't want to talk about it ever?

You may. I do not like using the journals, that is all.

I understand that. They can be hacked, can't they?

[He talks while he walks.]

They are monitored as well.

That's so sneaky. They must be so bored.
