[Tsuzuki jumps out of his chair, putting his journal down briskly. From the camera's view, it looks like the world is turned upside down.] Poor Cake!

[The kitten is nowhere in sight. A confused mewling comes from beneath the couch. Why did the ground try to swallow him, humans? D:]

Uh huh. We - [Whoops, and Cake wriggles free, jumps up on to the bed, and flops on Hijiri's lap.]

[Link laughs a little, and starts over.] We were thinking of starting a vegetable garden so we can grow stuff for Azzip. Do you want to help?

[Realizing this is an opportunity to get more snuggles, the kitten bumps his hed head up against Hijiri's palm.]

And this is Cake. Foot let us adopt him.

Uh huh - and we were thinking of having a picnic! Me and Grune were talking about it - it could be all our friends, and all of hers.

[Teeny, tiny sneaky glance in Tsuzuki's direction.] Do you want to help us make something? That way me and Tsuzuki and Grune don't have to cook anything. [Last chance to save the kitchen!]

Hisoka and I gave him one each, because we couldn't decide on one. I picked Cake.

I don't know, really. What do you think about chocolate mint cookies, Link?

They sound really nice! Um... [Another glance at Tsuzuki.] Have you ever made them before?

[He turns to Link again.] I haven't tried to make them yet, but the recipe looks so easy.

[Ahhh danger. Link gives Hijiri a 'help!' look.] Oh... I guess we can make those! How about all together?

[Tsuzuki strokes the kitten, a fond look on his face.] Thanks. Besides, he has a red spot on his flank that looks like a cake.

[He points at it, but it looks more like a squished arrow.]

We can probably find all the ingredients in the kitchen. Want us to go look?

[...Huh. He peers at it curiously - it sort of does.]

Sure! [And Hijiri can prevent them from blowing up the kitchen.] Come on, Hijiri. We can think of other things to do for the picnic.

It used to be better when he was smaller.

[Cake writhes out of the snuggle provider's hands and lands on his feet. Time to go, then? He brushes up against Hijiri's leg.]

Great! Link, can you help me get Cake out? I don't want him in the bedroom alone.

Okay! [He catches the fuzzy little kitten again whether he likes it or not, cuddling him to his chest as he straightens up.] I bet we can cook some really nice things!

I wonder what it'll look like when he's fully grown then.

[he laughs at the brushing] He's very friendly.

[This kitten is going to grow up really loving people. Tsuzuki's so glad he lives with people that he trusts. If they had been stuck with an enemy in 49, the atmosphere would have been terrible.]

[Cake purrs loudly and bumps his head against Link's neck. Silly humans. When he's grown up he's going to be a ferocious tiger!]

He was friendly since he was tiny. He even liked Hisoka. I've never even seen a cat that outgoing.

[Tsuzuki pushes the door open and waits for them.] What have you been up to otherwise, Hijiri?

[But an adorable and affectionate tiger, right?]

Uh huh! He's really sweet. [Cake, you're getting nuzzled back. Apparently he's related to my own kitten?]

[He heads for the door, glancing back at Hijiri curiously - what did he get up to during the draft, he wonders?]

Oh? And how does Hisoka react to him? [it would be interesting to see Hisoka's interactions with Cake]

Me? Nothing much. I just don't really feel like doing anything actually.

Don't tell him I told you, but I've seen him pick him up a lot.

[Unfortunately, talking about things like this will earn him a book to the face more often than not. He tries to switch the subject as they go down the stairs.]
