[I should have known better than to fix the frying pan with duct tape before using it. Those pancakes really didn't taste good. Not even with syrup. ...Hisoka looks thoughtful today. Maybe he's daydreaming. I wish I knew--

Heh. [It's all very cute, which is why Tsuzuki hooks his free hand under Hisoka's knees and holds his back up with the other as he stands up.] I will, then you can sleep.

I don't need to.. [But he's limp as he's lifted, perhaps as an expression of trust he'll refuse to acknowledge when he wakes.]

[Tsuzuki's thought bubble returns to quick flashes of a case of theirs where he had to bring him home and to bed. Careful about his neck, he let his partner down on the bed. And he would let him go, except..]

Are you going to let go off of my shirt?

[The words in his bubble run together, flickering in and out of focus as he groggily settles into bed. His arm does slide away from Tsuzuki's neck though, prompted by gravity to fall bonelessly at his side. At least he's not drunk this time?]

[Tsuzuki realizes that he could have a peek now, but it would also be a terrible breach of privacy. He touches Hisoka's hand wistfully instead, before pulling the blanket closer around him. ...Progress! Though drunk!bubbles would have been fun.]

[By now, Hisoka's really in no condition to argue about his privacy, and as Tsuzuki tucks him in, his thoughts are a churning grey pool. He hasn't yet begun his nightly journey into intense stomach-churning nightmare, but it shouldn't take very long if Tsuzuki decides to hang around. Provided it is never spoken of again, of course.]

[Curiosity will be the bane of his existence. :|||| But he stays, because he keeps telling himself he just wants to make sure that Hisoka gets a good dream. Then he'd leave.]

[Hisoka whimpers softly, squirming.]

[Hisoka's beginning to toss now.] N..no.. Tsuzuki..

[Hisoka's quickly driving himself into hysterics; near the end of the dream he's dissolved into hoarse screaming. Sorry, Tsuzuki. :(]

[The reason Tsuzuki didn't shake him out of his own personal hell-vision is because it took him by surprise, and so petrified him. Finally snapping out of it when Hisoka's screaming behind, he grabs a hold of one shoulder and shakes sharply. He half-way expect the empath to roast his hand for it.]

Hisoka!

[Eh he would've heard the screaming sooner or later since their rooms are next door to one another. Since Tsuzuki's arrival, he's been half-expecting Muraki to jump out from some bushes any second now. He jolts awake when he's shaken, shooting upright.] DON'T TOUCH ME.

[At least he's awake now, but Tsuzuki still jumps back at the outburst and blinks his eyes that has gotten misty from the dream.] Hisoka, it's all right! It's a nightmare!

Get out.

[The relief is pouring off of him in waves, even if his voice is a little shaky. He gets up and takes a few steps towards the door, not giving a second glance at the bubble.] I will, in a second, but not until I know you're all right.

I'm fine. Now get the hell out! [He's desperate to create distance between them and throws the closest book at him. It made sense at the time.]

[It hits him on the chest, making him throw his hand up to catch it as it falls.] I will, Hisoka. Just calm down. [And he opens the door, realizing that the whole house probably heard the yelling. It's a good thing he leaves, though, otherwise Hisoka would get a facefull of his guilt-trip.]

DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO. [He gets out of bed long enough to slam the door behind Tsuzuki's retreating back.]

OW! That's it! I'm keeping this [reads] diary!

ASATO TSUZUKI DON'T YOU DARE. [This is Hisoka storming out of his bedroom and stalking back toward Tsuzuki, holding a hand out expectantly.]

[Belated realization.] You keep a diary?

[AND ACTUALLY. Since Hisoka looks like he's out for blood, Tsuzuki will dare! Meaning, he'll flee back to his own room and wait until Hisoka's calmed down.]

TSUZUKI! [And now he's banging on Tsuzuki's door without regard to who might be trying to sleep at this hour.] GIVE IT BACK. THAT ISN'T YOURS, YOU DIRTY THIEF. [Really things were a lot better when he was unconscious.]

I'll let you in if you quiet down! ~~And promise not to decapitate me.~~
